This course teaches players to develop their strategic and organizational skills through an online platform where they are required to make choices in terms of strategy, planning, scope, marketing, human resources and budget. In the space of a few days, participants encounter all the dimensions of a project.
Training objectives
Plan Resort is a serious game designed to teach and practice the fundamentals of project management in a fun way. The game revolves around a project to create a hotel complex. Teams will be pitted against each other, and each team will have to:
– Manage a schedule
– Manage a scope and budget
– Make strategic choices while respecting cost, quality and deadline objectives
– Make choices and manage related risks
This serious game, designed to educate and train, is aimed at students and employees wishing to learn the basics of project management in a fun way.
Our trainers, experts in project management, alternate theory and practical application through games, answering users' questions and explaining their results.
Training program
The day alternates theory explained by our trainers and practice (via the game platform) over a full day. Here are the different chapters of the day:

1 - Introduction
- Explanation of game rules and reminder of management basics

2 – Phase 1: Planning
- Round 1: Establish your positioning (region, clientele, size, etc.)
- Round 2: Create your team and select your options
- Round 3: Select your suppliers and communicate

Throughout the game, a ranking will be available based on the choices made by each team. The game ends with a reward for the winning team.
