Transformation Management
The status quo is no longer possible for organizations (businesses, associations, local authorities, etc.) which must, more than ever, adapt in depth, reinvent themselves and continuously transform under the pressure of increasingly frequent external events (financial crisis, Covid, international conflicts, climate change, ecological crisis, technological disruptions, profound changes in regulations, increased competition).
In this particularly changing, uncertain, complex and difficult to understand environment, the sustainability and development of organizations now rest on their ability to execute their strategy by successfully completing their transformations.
These transformations result in a series of strategic projects, often complex and difficult to carry out, which shake up and impact the various dimensions of the organization (culture, management systems, organizations, sites, processes, practices and tools).

“The approach to these transformations can no longer be modelled on what has been done until now!”
Strategic planning
Medium- and long-term strategic planning no longer corresponds to the VUCA environment in which organizations are immersed, a shorter time horizon needs to be considered, along with tailored management that favors short-term adaptation while maintaining a longer-term course.
Change management
The various changes must be designed and managed holistically by understanding and managing the complex interactions and relationships between them, treating the underlying causes rather than the symptoms.
Simplification
Complexity must be reduced, and simplicity must serve as a compass. Keep what is at the heart of the transformation, and identify the additions that lead to the obesity of this type of approach.

And while successful transformation requires the mobilization and combination of classic, well-established disciplines such as project management, change management and program management, it now also calls for new practices specific to the field of transformation management.
This will aim to appropriately address the 4 main pitfalls to which transformation projects succumb:
Blindness leading to a poor and incomplete understanding of the nature and extent of the change to be carried out,
Obesity generating difficulty in progressing and obtaining results,
Confusion from inappropriate leadership,
Loss generated by insufficient and narrow mobilization and support from the various stakeholders.
A new way of steering
Managing transformations requires creating the right conditions to overcome these pitfalls (by creating a favorable environment) and setting up a new management style at transformation level, designed to steer the implementation of these key success factors.
The Imago indicator
Drawing on its expertise and R&D efforts, Teamsquare supports organizations in the execution of their strategy and the success of their transformation projects by focusing on key success factors, adopting a holistic vision and a specific management approach based on the Imago indicator.
